Recreation Realty, Inc. was established in 1973 for the purpose of providing more comprehensive service to our clients. John Hensley, founder, had been selling real estate in the Nevada City, Scotts Flat Lake area since 1970 while working for a Bay Area company that did not have a home base in Nevada County. John wanted to provide a local team of service professionals, so in 1973 he opened his own Recreation Realty, Inc. company at it’s present location across from the Scotts Flat Lake turn off on Highway 20 east.
After nearly 15 years with a local general contracting firm and 10 years experience in property management, Kristen joined her father, John, in their family business at Recreation Realty, Inc.. She is proud to continue the family real estate tradition of serving Nevada County and making the process of buying or selling your home a fun and successful experience.
