A Night of Music, Memories, and Gratitude
On July 22, 2023, we gathered at The Wheelhouse Event Center in Nevada City for an incredible milestone—50 years of Nevada County Properties! From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was filled with music, laughter, and heartfelt gratitude as we reflected on five decades of real estate excellence.
A Musical Journey Through the Years
Our celebration was nothing short of spectacular, featuring over 25 local musicians who played throughout the day. The energy was contagious as the following talented artists took the stage:

John’s Special Remarks
As the evening unfolded, John Hensley took the stage to share a few heartfelt words. He reflected on his incredible journey in real estate, how it all started, the challenges overcome, and the countless memories made along the way. He gave a special thanks to his wife, Sandra, for her unwavering support and excitement for Kristen’s future leadership at the brokerage. His words were met with cheers and applause, honoring his deep commitment to Nevada County real estate and the community that has supported Nevada County Properties for half a century.
Good Food, Great Friends, and a Whole Lot of Fun
Guests enjoyed a delicious BBQ provided by Harmony Ridge Market, featuring classic burgers and dogs (with veggie options, of course!). The outdoor patio was alive with conversation, clinking glasses, and pure celebration. Beer and wine were available for purchase, and every sip was a toast to the legacy and future of Nevada County Properties.
