Lance Armstrong stormed to his first comeback victory in the Nevada City Bicycle Classic!
The second oldest bicycle race in the country, the Nevada City Classic attracts the nation's top cyclists. This year Lance Armstrong and Astana teammates Levi Leipheimer and Chris Horner rode full force. Lance took the lead late in the race and the crowd of 30,000 fans roared as he spun to his first victory since his comeback earlier this year! And Lance's assessment of the Nevada City crowds? "Electric..." He went on to add that Nevada City should be the starting point for the 2010 Amgen Tour of California! Plan to join us at the Nevada City's 50th Bicycle Classic on Father's Day 2010 and watch for news of the Amgen 2010 Tour of California!
